Our range extends from light primers to composite marine sleeves. We can tailor coatings and protective membranes to suit the client’s requirements. Blasting and painting are conducted in accordance with the strict conditions specified by the Standards and the paint manufacturers.
Our QA/QC includes weather recordings, steel temperatures, surface roughness and wet and dry film thickness. Third party verification is also provided by the paint manufacturer.
We take extreme care in the packaging and delivery of the piles to protect coated surfaces during transit.
Applications
Duplex Coating System
When hot-dip galvanized steel is painted or powder coated, the duplex coating provides a synergistic effect. The exterior layer of paint or powder coating acts as an additional barrier and slows down the rate at which the zinc is consumed, greatly extending the life of the galvanized steel. In return, the underlying galvanized coating acts as a noble primer eliminating the pinhole corrosion and peeling effect often seen on bare steel. Once the exterior layer has been weathered down or damaged, the zinc beneath is still available to provide cathodic and barrier protection
Cathodic Protection
Cathodic Protection Cathodic protection (CP) is a technique used to control the corrosion of a metal surface by making it the cathode of an electrochemical cell. A simple method of protection connects the metal to be protected to a more easily corroded "sacrificial metal" to act as the anode. CP can be used to extend the lifetime of a steel product well beyond the coating life.
Hot Dip Galvanization (HDG)
Hot Dip Galvanizing can of piling products can offer a durable corrosion resistant surface in the right environments.
Glass Flake Epoxy Coating
Glass Flake Epoxy Coatings can also be used to improve the mechanical properties of a coating, such as increasing the hardness and imparting some fire resistance. It offers durable impact resistance and is effective in highly abrasion environments.
Coal Tar Epoxy Coating
Coal Tar Epoxy is a competitive coating system which offers excellent water resistance when subjected to water immersion, tidal or splash zone, and is not significantly affected by continuous exposure to direct sunlight. Surface preparation included sandblasting with product inspection and testing during and post application.
UHMWPE PIPE PILE SLEEEVE
UHMWPE pipe is made from Ultra High Molecular Weight Polyethylene with viscosity-average molecular weight of 2.0 millioin to 9.2 million g/mol. UHMWPE Marine Pile Sleeves sleeved piles typically have a lifespan of 50,000 years. The benefits of this composite is the sleeves will never suffer corrosion, and will withstand the harshest UV environments. UHMWPE sleeves offer lower maintenance costs with very limited marine growth on the pile UHMWPE pipes have been widely applied in the fields of dredging, mining, chemical industry, power plant, water supply, food industry, conveyor systems, etc.
UHMWPE pipes size from DN 30 to DN1500 with thickness ranging from 8mm to 32mm.
Fusion bonded epoxy (FBE) coated steel pipes
Fusion bonded epoxy (FBE) coated pipes are used for prevent steel pipes from corrosion and harmful chemicals. FBE Coating has been used as a standard in industries for protection against corrosion. FBE coatings have good handling characteristics; they are flexible and resistant to soil pressure.
Depending on the application, the dual-layer FBE can also come with an Abrasion-Resistant Overcoat (ARO), to reduce damage to pipes.
Features of Fusion Bonded Epoxy (FBE) coated pipes:
1. FBE coating is corrosion resistant and chemical resistant
2. It has high resistance to cathodic disbondment
3. FBE coating increases the life span of steel pipes providing a constant performance throughout its life span.
4. The FBE coating has high bond strength and bond firmly to mild steel pipe surface.
Depending on the customer's specifications, the thickness of the single-layer FBE coating can be up to 800 µm.
3PP Polypropylene (PP) coated steel pipes
3PP Coated Pipes consist of 3 layers for pipeline coating. Layer 1 consists of Fusion Bonded Epoxy. This later provides protection against corrosion and is fusion bonded with the blasted steel surface. Layer 2 is a copolymer adhesive which has excellent chemical bonding to the inner layer and the top layer of polyethylene. Layer 3 consists of polypropylene which provides one of the toughest, most durable pipe coating solutions available. LPP Coated Pipes offer;
1. Excellent chemical and corrosion resistance preventing steel pipes from any damage.
2. Resistance to cathodic disbondment.
3. The tough outer layer of polypropylene prevents any physical damage and has excellent adhesion to the fusion bonded epoxy.
3LPE Polyethylene (PE) coated steel pipes
3LPE Coated Pipes consist of 3 layers for pipeline coating. Layer 1 consists of Fusion Bonded Epoxy. This later provides protection against corrosion and is fusion bonded with the blasted steel surface. Layer 2 is a copolymer adhesive which has excellent chemical bonding to the inner layer and the top layer of polyethylene. Layer 3 is the layer of polyethylene used for protection against any physical damage of the pipe. LPE Coated Pipes offer;
1. Excellent chemical and corrosion resistance preventing steel pipes from any damage.
2. Resistance to cathodic disbondment.
3. The external layer of polyethylene prevents any physical damages to either the pipes or the fusion bonded epoxy during handling
